Made my reservation already. Is there a countdown clock for over a year away:confused3
Sounds like a really good time:cool1:

I'm trying to figure out which one I should reserve

I'm so clueless about this ship

Can I reserve a specific room and if so which one should I pick??????????????
And which deck????????

When you put in your booking you can request a specific stateroom in the special request section. Tracey will do her best to accommodate you but it will be based on availability.

This ship has a lot of different areas with a lot of ammenities. I personlly don't think there is a bad place on the ship but you might like one area over another.

When in doubt book as mid-ship as possible and near to the elevators - that way you can get places quicker - especially the cupcake store :goodvibes

I was thinking of asking for a cabin "near the cupcake store", but then was wondering if I would be better off asking for a cabin "far away from the cupcake store" so I could work off some of those cupcakes. :surfweb:

Yes, you can reserve a specific cabin. There are several web sites where you can read reviews of cabins. One is Deck Plan Genius: http://deckplangenius.com/

Thanks!!! Guess what - DD is, as we speak, winging her way west to that not so frozen tundra!! remember when she started her alaska planning what seems like eons ago? so she's on her way - a mere 39 hours of traveling to get there....13 hours to new york, then a 6 hour layover, then 3 hours to minneapolis, then another 6 hour layover, then 6 hours to fairbanks!....
how she's going to manage to drive the rental car when she gets there is beyond me....but maybe the excitement of being in alaska will get that adrenalin going!! she and DSIL are doing their own land tour, then going on a SB cruise to Vancouver. Exciting!!!!!
