When I was 13 mom took me to DL for graduation. I made friends with the 3 little pigs. The practical pig took a liking to me and everynight when I waited for fireworks under the tree by It's a Small World the pigs would dance by me. The practical pig even sat on my lap and mom took a picture of. She now has a poster size pic of this. When I was much older--WDW had a musical statue (music box type) of the Practical Pig building his house of bricks. It played, of course, "Who's afriad of the big bad wolf".

Well, when I was packing up my music boxes to move I thought I had this on the bed away from danger, but, as we all know -- down it fell and he is now a Headless Pig.

Does anyone know where I could find this music box. I have tried e***, yah**, and looked around at antique stores...no luck. I would appreciate if anyone knows of any websites that sell Disney collectables that may have this or know of someone who might be willing to sell, please email me. Thanks much.

You can't repair him? I am not sure where to tell you to look on the secondary market, as I am not a collector of music boxes. My only thought is that the Disney arechives may be able to help you. They are located in Burbank.

I am glad you brought up a topic that is not on pins! I think the rest of us collectors are being overrun by pin topics on a collector's board! Goo luck in your search!:)

The problem is he is made of something like porcelain. The box hit a planter made of pottery.....so his head literally went to pieces....many many pieces. Mom put it all in a little plastic bag but some were so small, almost like splinters that it is not really fixable.

Thanks so much though I know if I am meant to find a replacement I will.

If you'd be interested in finding out about restoring it, I met Christie and Ken Robertson at the Disneyana Convention last year and they repair WDCC sculptures and may have leads for you. I'm going to forward this thread to them and maybe you can hook up.

I love the three little pigs. Good luck!
