I don't want to open up a can of worms & if the mod's on this board want to lock this thread after my post, I will understand. I just want to let everyone know that the CM who told my sister that Disney would be crediting back the balance that I did manage to pay off on Sunday from the glitched rates... was correct. I am not showing the credit on my online credit card account summary however, it is showing a credit back on "My Disney Vacations" site in their offical web sit. So yeah I did manage to pay it off, but they didn't keep it. They never emailed me about it either :confused3 You would think that they would have contacted me somehow. They have my name, address, telephone number & email address. There has been no communication from them. Had I not looked just now, I wouldn't have known. Yesterday I was showing a $0 balance, now I am showing one.

Are you sure its not just you were not souposed to pay for this over the phone (lol). They still keep your deposit right? B/c several managers have told me Disney is honoring this.

:rotfl: Yes, it is only the balance part that I paid off on Sunday that they credited back. They did keep the deposit... and yes, I guess they weren't suppose to take it over the phone :guilty: , but they did... I also recently emailed a friend of mine that use to work in CRO (now she is in payroll with Disney) & she said she is pretty sure that they will honor the rates. Pretty much as others are saying. Now we all need to hope we have gas to get there

They are. AMICKEYFANs situation only confirms it further. If they were not going to cancle it, they would have refunded everything.

and can you all get into your reservations on the online site? I keep trying and it says sorry for the inconveinence....etc

When I log into the My Disney Vacations" site, I can get into any ressie that was made online. It lists all of them, but will not show anything for the call in ones. They say what yours is saying. Are you trying the ones that you made online?
Slighty off topic but since you are here in FL, have you heard anything about the state supposingly having gas stations shut pumps down for a few days? My son told me that someone told him. I know nearly every station here in Cape Coral is out of gas??? I am leaving for Disney on Friday & worried about being able to get gas. I have enough to get me up there, but not enough to get me home (not that I would mind staying there :rotfl: ). Then I was thinking if they are going to cut our gas, my husband should use my full tank for work. I called Disney & got a CM from the Tampa office. She said she hadn't heard of them making any offical statement, but has seen some stations with no gas today. She did tell me in the event I had to cancel, I could & they would refund me my money or postpone my trip. I will take the postponed trip. I already know that I want to go over MLK weekend. I am a little nervous though. After reading & hearing how our state is dependent upon natural gas for our electric, makes me think of what could end up happening. I spoke to my Uncle (lives in Palm Coast) and he said that there were about 5 gas stations closed there & some of the others were allowing you to only get 15 gallons at a time

No, I have not heard anything and we are going to Gainesville for the weekend (go GATORS!!) I better get gas first thing....I did notice 2.95 gas on my way home though!!

Biking to WDW may help me lose this post baby weight......:)

We have been asked by Florida Power and Light to conserve our electric though. They shut the local CC down for energy saving yesterday and today.

The gas staions in Orlando are quickly running out of gas. The lines for gas are unbelievable right now. It wasn't like this when the hurricanes came through here last year.

My husband had to fill his car up with premium as many of the gas stations didn't have regular gas or the lines were several blocks long. He just gave up and got premium.

Really? I'm going to Miami for teh weekend. We actually ahve to take two cars. I'm thinking of calling Enterprise and booking an economy car for the way over them come back together. I ahven't seen any gas stations around here that are out. Cotsco had a long line today.

Lol... "Mickey Fan" & "lillygator" notice how these threads basicly only have us talking. lol! :rotfl2:

I was finally able to have my res show up in MY VACATIONS today. I previosuly have not been able to. And i can find anyplace where it would let me pay online.

I was going to say hi last night but didn't want the thread to be closed. They are definately talking about the gas up here in Jacksonville. We are paying 289 here a gallon. Some stations such as certain HESS ones have run out of the cheap gas and won't get stocked for another week. Unfortunately they need to shutdown the gas stations for a day or two to avoid major panic. I hope everyone is doing well.

I didn't try to get in on the glitch but wanted to add that I have booked both of my next trips over the phone. I can go to WDW online and My Vacations and they are both there with confirmation numbers and everything. I think you can view these whether you made them over the phone or online.

It still gives me the "sorry that is not accessible at this time...." like a maintainence issue. Has me a tad worried!! :)

I live in upper MI and gas was $3.29 yesterday, don't dare go out and look today!

I live in a Virginia suburb of Washington DC. The gas station around the corner from us has...
.
.
.
***$3.69 9/10 for regular!!!!!***

The other one a bit further away has $3.09 9/10. So far as I know, no stations have had to shut down here like in areas further south, but Washington Dulles airport(hub for United and Independence Air) might have difficulty having enough aviation fuel for all scheduled flights in the near future.

agnes!

I am able to see my reservation online but there is no option to pay for it. I think before we were able to but maybe with all the problems they stopped that option. As far as the gas situation, I am in Palm Beach County and paid 2.89 for regular. I didn't notice any problems and pulled right in but have been hearing about the gas shortages at othe places. Guess I just timed it right and apparently based on what others are paying got a good deal. Good luck to everone and hopefully this will only last a short time. The majority of my job is driving so not looking forward to having to hunt down gas and pay a fortune.

I never saw where to pay it online, which was why I called them that night. How is the gas by you?
