Not much left on Hickory Farms.com

Last year, stocked up - bought at 75% off and then again at 90% off - most stuff was good until July/Aug and some of the cheese good till October - went looking to see what I want this year and there aren't any big items on the site. Did they understock this year figuring with the economy people wouldn't be buying, did they overstock last year and that was the reason for the big discounts..... was planning for my superbowl snacks.....

I read somewhere that companies across the country were down sizing the amount of stock that they had on hand before the Christmas season started because of the huge amounts they had left over last year so as to avoid the huge fire sales they all had last january, ie the Hickory Farms 75% off sale.

I know the OP is unhappy, but I'm pretty impressed with Hickory Farms' ability to (perhaps a little under-) predict what would sell before Christmas - and so not have to take a loss afterwards by putting a lot of merchandise on clearance.

We weren't able to locate the turkey sticks for dad this year.... None of the local stores or not even quite so local had them... Ran out real quick this year
