Not Matching AKV-J waitlist

I matched today for my AKV-J Value studio yet when I called they would not fill the waitlist. I am lucky because I also matched at BWV too. I find it ridiculous that they will allow you to put in a waitlist, hope to get it filled, fill and then take it away. If they do not really know the availability them they should not allow the waitlist or allow it to match. the CM was great but we were on hold for 30 minutes why she tried to figure out why she could not finish filling the waitlist that I had matched. The thing that really irritated me is that I called because I saw that the day I wanted at BWV, or AKV, was available for booking on the system. I thought at first it would auto fill my waitlist but it did not and anyone could have booked it had I not called. I could not book it myself because I could not take the chance of cancelling my current reservation during Spring Break. I do not believe that their waitlist system immediately grabs rooms, they may say it is automatic but I bet it is still manual.

The available room/dates may have already been pulled for another wait list that was on the list before yours.

no, she verified it was for me but they will not allow waitlists for certain rooms to be filled at AKV-J during the renovation. It sucks but at least I got Boardwalk. I just like the quiet, to food and the parking at AKV-J

Is this during Jambo renovations? If so my guess is that the inventory is screwed up between blocked rooms and what's really available.
