Not looking to rent points- question about it

I am booking points with a friend of mine. She has 154 points which cover the week I need. I was thinking about adding an extra day to our stay (she has not booked for us yet) if I did that I will be 4 points shy. What do I do in this case? Can I pay for a cash stay for the last night or can I get points through a company. Literally need 4 points. I need to know because if it is too difficult to get 4 points then I will cut our trip down by the night to avoid the hassel...

If she has not used her one time annual use of buying extra points from DVC she could do that at $15.00 per point. Max of purchase per contract per year is 25 points.

She can "rent" up to 24 points from Disney at $15.00 a point. So at the time of her making a ressie for you she can just ask MS for those extra 4 points. However, this is only good if the reservation is made within 7 months.

She could also borrow 4 points from next years use year.

Another option, is to rent another persons points and link them together, but this can get a little complicated if you link them together.

you can buy points from other members for cheap on the other part of this site for DVC rental. She could buy points for transfer into her account so you can make the reservation or you can buy all the points from someone who wants to rent them to you and they can make you the one day reservation. Your friend could also borrow points from her next year account which is the very easiest.
