It's getting closer, and I am getting more and more excited.

Only 2 more 12 hour nights to do this weekend and that's it. No more work until September 3:bounce:

Picked up the tickets today from the travel agent. I never thought the day would come when we booked all those months ago.

Thanks for all the tips I have had from these boards. Only today, I found out about the AAA card from the AA (thanks Mrs Dazzle). That will save me 10% when we go to Busch Gardens:D

The tips on here have made the planning so much easier, and I will let you know how we got on when we get back.

I really hope this will be the first of many trips to WDW, but judging by how much it all costs, it might be a while before the next one:(

Hi,

Could you tell me what the AA and AAA cards are please?

Its great and nearly time to go to disney!

I hope you have a wonderful trip and that all your hard work with the planning makes it very special :)

If you have time (and energy ;) ), come back and tell us how it went!

Could you tell me what the AA and AAA cards are please?
If you belong to the AA in the UK you can request a card for the AAA (American Automobile Association) which is good for some discounts in the USA, e.g. Sea World and Busch Gardens allow 10% discount.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but the AAA is the American version of the AA. If you are a member of the Automobile Association in this country you can ring up and get an american pack which includes an AAA card so that you can get discounts as if you were in the AAA. I'm sure that we did this last time we went.

Have a wonderful time. I wish I was going. In fact, I think I'd settle for being off work until 3 September!

Hope you enjoy every second and come back with lots of great things to tell us.

Have a great time !

Yes, that's right Sue. Just ring AA enquiries and they send you an information pack with lots of brochures/information and a few temporary AAA cards for you to use in America.

:D Harry - can't believe your trip is finally coming around. I can remember when you first appeared on the boards last year;)

Glad the AA tip was useful - it's amazing what you can get hold of. I've got a 12% discount on my Poly reservation with the AA card:Pinkbounc

Will you be popping on the boards before you go? If not, have a wonderful time, enjoy every minute and take notes for your trip reports:D

Thanks for all your good wishes.

I will definitely be around on the boards until we go - I'm still getting some great tips.

I am fully intending to give you a report as well when we get back (I hope it won't be too boring:p)

Nearly through my last but one night now. When I walk on tomorrow at 07:30, I'll be at least 7 feet tall :teeth:
