Not into musicals ?

I'm glad to see we aren't the only ones that don't find the Disney shows to be all that great. We usually do enjoy the variety acts, though. When our son was younger we sat through them for his sake, but he could take them or leave them now as well. We find that it's a nice time to explore a quiet ship as most people are either at dinner or the show. Sometimes DH and I order a bottle of wine and sit out on the balcony and relax after a busy port day. I do wish, though, that they would offer at least one more adult oriented Broadway type musical option, even if it was late at night. We love musicals, but the ones on the ship just aren't our cup of tea.

My family and I aren't really into musicals especially my kids. After dinner (on the dream) my husband and I were gonna attempt the shows without the kids. But if there was one show more kid orientated which one would it be?

Thank!

You can always sit in the back and leave if you don't like the show.

I've watched 'em all on every cruise. They are definitely not Broadway, more like a college production. I find the constant theme of a "dream come true" moderately annoying (which may explain why I like Villains best), but I enjoy the Disney shows more than similar shows I've seen on other lines. Cheesy...sure they are, but hey, you're on a cruise ship dedicated to a giant Mouse.

DW doesn't like the shows so spends the time at the pool (we have late seating). After the show, we return to the room and change for dinner and enjoy a glass of wine on our balcony.
