I booked just a garden view standard at the rate of 249./nite. And thats with a AAA discount! We are only staying one night at the HRH. Last year in Sept. I was able to get the ent rate of $188/night deluxe room. I called today and was told that there will not be ANY ent rates available for the entire year! I actually dont feel like even going now. Between hotel, transfer from Disney, passes and eating not to even mention any souvies it will be over $500.00 for the 3 of us (2 adults 1 child) for 2 days. I just dont know how I can justify this 2 days with the exception that my 5 yr old is a die hard spidey fan! Well ....anyways I feel better for venting! :)

Their hotel rates are definately going up. We are Florida residents and the most expensive rate that my DH and I have paid is $180 something a night at Portofino or at the Hard Rock. The cheapest rate we have been able to get even with the Florida resident discount now is $260-something a night.

Last year we were able to get RPR for $125.00/night and therefore booked two rooms. This year, the least expensive rate we could get for HRH was $194.00. Needless to say, we will only be getting one room this time.

I think attendance and/or on-site guests stays must be up significantly.

We originally planned to stay 3 nights at HRH, 2 nights at Nick hotel, and 11 nights at GF. Rate for HRH deluxe club was $336, rate for regular deluxe was $309. We already have APs for Disney and would have had to buy tickets for US. As much as we enjoyed Universal last year we decided to skip it all together this year and do 2 nights at Nick Hotel (doing Sea World) and 14 nights at GF.
