We have always had AP. I know my family will be super angry with me. But I am not buying regular tickets multiple times.
I am going to skip until then.

We plan on going two weeks in August, but will just do other things.
Time to try Universal and will use my credit for Discovery Cove from last year and will get the Sea World & Busch Gardens add on.
Plenty to keep us busy this next trip.

You do what is right for you. But, if you have always had AP then you should still have one. We didn't cancel our APs because we knew they would eventually open the parks. We had just renewed in December and had a HUGE family trip booked for May. :(

We were back to the parks in September, October, November, and December of 2020 using up our banked DVC points :)

Our passes were changed to have start date of September 2020.

IMO they will sell APs again. Enjoy DC and SWBG. I have not ridden velocicoaster but Hagrid's is GREAT!

I'm a snark. I wasn't going back till POR opened back up. Now I'm booked at BWI. Never say never

We are DVC. We don't keep AP continous. We buy and AP and get 3 trips out of it and take a break and then start the cycle over again. Our we expired when they put the brakes on.

There’s nothing wrong with traveling new places. AP’s will likely be back although they might not look the same as they do now.

We've always had APs, but we did let them expire. Wasn't worth it when we knew we wouldn't be going for quite awhile. We're buying tix for August and whatever form APs return in, we'll just pick up where we left off. So much is in flux right now that we're just rolling with it all.

It would be nice if they let you take the value of the tickets and back date them to the first day the tickets were used. But I agree, who knows what AP will come back and at what cost. I expect them to be astronomical. Then we are out. We are half out the door now. We just sold out DVC.

I just don't understand what they are waiting for with issuing new passes. I mean, mine expired this month and was just able to renew online no problem. Why do they keep letting people renew if they are planning major changes to the program....oh yeh, that's right....money, they'll take all they can get!🤑

Same boat waiting on AP. After 10 years we took break end of 2019 to fund 2020 DL trip for all, Covid-cancelled. So unable to get again now.

Just there a week with whole family (vacation club already booked) and they wanted to go (only two of us are long time AP). We bought 4 day no hop tickets with day 4 being half day after checkout. We added Universal with the two of us buying AP, one already had.

I was okay with no AP this trip because I’m hoping variety of FL AP come back and I’ll get a weekday pass that didn’t include July anyway.

The two of us return in October. And if WDW AP doesn’t come back I now have the Universal AP. Like you I can add other places to go to. Would love to return to Discovery Cove.

We just got back from Universal and Sea World. We had a great time! As much as I love Disney, it's always fun to try new things.

Discovery Cove is hands down the best day ever. Talk about magical!! Enjoy!

We are finishing out our Annual passes and will likely not return to Disney much until they get their act together once they run out. I miss the "old" magical, customer focused Disney!

Why would your family be angry about going to all those other great theme parks? There is no shortage of fun places of visit in the Orlando area.

Sounds like a good plan. I am eager to buy APs again. We are going to WDW in late August, and I bought 4 day single park tix for us. I'm hoping they are selling APs by then and I can upgrade

Seems like a reasonable plan and those parks are all lots of fun.

I think it is highly likely they will never bring back the traditional annual passes with unlimited admission any day you wanted. They will probably move to a reservation system.

Well they've already said that they're keeping park reservations for the foreseeable future. But in terms of being able to visit over a longer period of time than just 14 days...or more park days total than 10...

I'm happy to report we just renewed our Covid-cancelled passes! Can't wait to use them! (July, November, January --- hopefully!)

Lol and we were planning on staying at BWI and ended up at YC, which we love also. We have never stayed at POFQ, but we're thinking about it next trip--whenever that will be :teleport:
