not flushing...

It is still bothering me that on our most recent trip almost nobody (in the ladies' room at least) was flushing the toilet. I'm trying to figure out if people assume that ALL of the toilets are automatic flush or what??? It was gross. I almost went thru and flushed them all in a couple of the bathrooms just because nobody was doing it!

This is gonna sound really weird but...sometimes people DO assume all the toliets are automatic! I even find myself from time to time talking to someone and waving my hand under the sink waiting for it to start! So even though it IS gross it can happen

We found the bathrooms to be slightly disgusting as well during our trip.
Not sure why. We also noticed that there's a lot fewer disney staff cleaning the washrooms as well.

I noticed the bathrooms were pretty gross on our trip over the summer. I had assumed it was due to the high crowds because I had never noticed them like that on previous trips. I hope this is not going to be the norm from now on.

OMG!!! ITA!!! I get so annoyed when I go into a stall and there is pee on the seats!!! I have actually walked out and told women who were washing their hands, "You do realize you pee'd on the seat, right?" EVERY single time, the women have said, "Oh, I know it's there....it was there when I walked in." Okay, right!!!

Grrrr.....MAJOR pet peeve of mine!!

This grosses me out, too! Even if the automatic toilet doesn't flush, my girls (ages 4 and 6) know to push the black button to MAKE it flush!

Unless the toilet's broken, this is just pure laziness.

I know this doesnt Help the situation, But Pee is STERILE... so there are no germs to be worried about. As a Nurse, what REALLY makes bathrooms a germ spreading place are those people who do not wash there hands when they exit the bathroom

It's not exactly sterile. It is before it's voided, but then it picks up all sorts of bacteria on the way out. But I'll agree that both are REALLY NASTY

I did notice that the bathrooms were gross in October as well. Especially the one in Germany. Also on quite a few occasions i think the automatic flushers were not working properly b/c i had to jump around in front of them to get them to flush on more than 1 occastion.
