Not everyone wants to go to Disney

That made me laugh. It sounds like they had already been driving a lot and were past the point of excitement about just about anything.

I feel sorry for that mom! She was so excited and had made this whole trip for the kids. I bet they were tired from driving and got excited once they were there.

Aw, I feel bad for the lady for all the nasty comments she's getting. I wrote something nice for her.

But that video was GREAT! Totally the reaction I would have gotten from my oldest. :lmao:

I still don't understand what Dick's House is..it's obviously not what I found on the internet! Maybe it's a friend of theirs?

:lmao: that was MY kid in the hood!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

That was hysterical!!! Still want to know who is Dick? :confused3

This makes me want to go to Dick's house. It must be a really fun place. ;)

I saw a post where the kids ended up having a great time once they got there. That was a funny reaction though.

:rotfl: Thanks!! I needed a good laugh today! The poor mother. Poor kids, too. Who is Dick, though? Dick needs to make a response to that video!

:lmao: I know, right? I want to go to Dick's house, too! That's my new euphemism for Disney World. "We're going to Dick's House!"

This is so funny and sad at the same time. I agree that they were so overtired at that point that any surprise was just too much. I might have said, oo I saw a sign for Disney World, wouldn't it be cool if we go their before going to Dick's house? Then let them think about it for a few miles and start talking about what they do there.

That was funny, mainly because I could TOTALLY see my kids doing the exact same thing if they thought we were going somewhere different. They get so into the travel planning that surprising them with a change of destination on the road would be a disaster. When we surprised our crew with a Disney trip, they thought we were just doing Grandma a favor by dropping her off at the airport, so of course finding out that they were getting a vacation was an improvement!

Loved it!!
nothing like a kid to take the wind outta your sails. I love the little girl who is holding the 2 bucks and starts crying, as if to say "this lousy 2 bucks can't buy any thing in Disneyworld"

That was awesome! My son was underwhelmed for one trip and stared at me like the kid in the hoodie. He's terrified of flying and freaked when he had to get on a plane, so that type of reaction is always funny to me.

That is hilarious!!! I actually got a similiar reaction from my DD when I surprised her with a trip to WDW one time.. I actually told her that me, DH and her were going to my friends house who lives in Florida and we were staying and visiting with her for a few days.. we got to the Orlando airport and were checking in at Magical Express when we told her.. she was mad because she said we made her lie to her class since she told her teacher and friends that she was going to my friends house..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think she was in 2nd grade at the time and once she got over the initial part of it she had a blast.. but it still cracks me up to this day and she is now in 7th grade..:thumbsup2
