three times now someone has snagged my hot pockets out of the freezer. Didn't ask, didn't leave me a note. Nothing. I go to get one today and some $@$@% took another one. :( and then left the empty box in the freezer.

Some people just have no manners. :(

After loosing stuff out of the fridge at work I now refuse to put anything in it. I can not tell you how many times I went to put MY cream in MY tea and the bottle be empty. Or go to grab that soda in the afternoon and it be gone.
Buy yourself a small / personal cooler and use it. You'll be much better off.

That is so WRONG!!!! Maybe you can find a lunch box type of thing that you can put a lock on.

UGH we had this problem too. What is up with that?? People are so rude and cheap!!

I always wonder what these people are thinking....like, "Darn, I forgot to bring my lunch. I wonder if Jane would notice that I took her Lean Cuisine."

Someone at my mom's office was taking one bite out of all the sandwiches in the fridge!
What would possess them to do something like that, and how did they not get caught? I mean, taking one thing out of the fridge or freezer, no one knows it isn't yours. But someone had to be in the breakroom for a while opening all those bags and unwrapping all those sandwiches- how did they not get caught?

BTW, someone has been using my tea bags in work. A few tea bags is not work getting upset over but I would write a VERY nasty note and put in on the fridge if someone were stealing my food!

It happened to me while I was working at a preschool. Everyone would put their lunches in the refrig. I would bring some extra hot pockets and such for those days when I wasn't able to go pick up something from the restaurant or store. The first time it happened, I thought that someone just made a mistake of taking it. Then it kept happening over and over again. I found out that this one teacher ate it and thought that it wasn't anyones cause it was in the freezer and lunch was over. Hello, how did it get in there in the first place-don't you think it belonged to someone. He didn't even ask anyone if it belonged to them-he just helped himself to it.

We had this happening at work too. I would have a personal pan pizza, 2 slices lunch, 2 for dinner . but at dinner one would be gone. They even went into peoples tupperware. so one day i put an alarm in it that went off in light. Wish i could have seen their face when they opened it! and it was opened. I always suspected a young, male co-worker. He wasn't as thrilled about the alarm ideas as i was afterward.
But there were several people poaching. One secretary was fired when she was found opening someone's personal milk that had been stapled shut. Now that is embarassing.

Thats been happening at our school too. They sometimes only take part of a meal...guess they turned their noses up at the rest of it. :(

hehehehee from our office manager...

I guess their has been a little mouse hanging out in the fridge and eating other peoples food (not really). But, apparently food and other things that people have been bringing have been disappearing. Please be sure to label all of your food before putting it in the fridge and when taking your food out please be sure that it's yours. Thank you.

It kind of reminds me of the episode of Friends where Ross's boss eats his sandwich. "Did you happen to mistake it for your own turkey sandwich with the moist maker?" :p

This is a problem at my place of work too. I'll sometimes write my name on the frozen tv dinner with a marker.

When I worked at Canon, someone was nice enough to take a KFC box out of the fridge, eat the contents and kindly replace the bones and box to the fridge.

When I worked at K-Mart...back when we were going to the POS system, a team from another store came to ours for training. A woman walked to the fridge, commented about the pudding and removed and ate it. Laughed about it too. Said if the person really wanted it they would not have left it. Sad creatures.

Some guy was doing this where my dh works. One of his co-workers wrote her name on the bottom of her soft drink cans before she put them in the fridge. She came into the break room and sat across the table from a co-worker and discovered who was stealing other people's stuff out of the fridge because when he turned his drink up her name was on the bottom of the can! lol.

That used to happen to me when I was working........so rude....yet nobody ever owned up to it, although I know who it was.:(

Lick everything that belongs to you before you put it in the fridge and take a swig from your pop before you put it in there too.

Just posting what Pop Daddy would normally say since he's being invisible right now. :p :p

:wave2:

I worked in an office where food was being stolen every day. One guy who worked an early shift put his sandwich in at 6 AM and it was gone by 10 AM. No matter how many threats and warnings came from management (people would label their food saying they had "licked" it, someone put up a sign saying that one item in the fridge was poisoned, steal at your own risk), it continued.

My mother-in-law told me a funny story about the one and only office she worked in when she was very young. The boss felt entitled to take whatever he wanted from the fridge, including the secretaries' lunches. They finally got so fed up (no pun intended), that the gals baked some brownies with Ex-Lax in them.

You can guess the rest.

Sounds like you should buy an extra box for that hungry someone. I would leave a note on it and simply say,

Your Welcome and on the other Mine...please don't eat:D
Maybe someone can't afford their own box? I always believe in sharing:D

I'd also write a note on them too or....if it happens again, mention rather loudly you had just found out that there is a recall on that food product and at least 10 people are now violently ill and anyone who has eaten it has to call their dr immediately for some painful shots :p I'll bet someone will start panicking :p

This was happening were I used to work. A co-worker got tired of it & put syrup of ipecac in some soup and placed it in the fridge. Definitly found out who ate his soup that day! Funny how it did stop the food being stolen for a while anyway :D

This happens at my job too!

It's sad that grown adults have to scotch tape notes to their food.

Now I can see if someone thinks it's theirs. Like if they brought in Hot Pockets too. But then that would mean theirs would still be in there and everyone would still get one.

But people just take things. Someone actually took my boss' fruit cup once, ate 1/2 the fruit and put it BACK!

Then we have the people who can't clean up the toaster and the microwaves after they use them. They actually took the toaster away for a while because people would just leave stuff (melted cheese, sauce etc.) all over it.
