We are going to the world in September with our DS7. We have 7 day tickets. We aren't doing park hoppers as we feel we have enough days to spend plenty of time at our favorite parks. I am planning to do our FP at 60 days for 6 of the days but contemplating not booking any for our 7th day and deciding at the end of the week where we want to spend our last day. Plans for the first 6 include 2 at MK, 2 at Epcot, 1 DHS, and 1 AK. I am thinking that our 7th day may be an evening only at epcot Mainly for dinner. Should I just plan this day's FP and ADR on the fly or should I just book something and then change it last minute if we decide to. Thought about doing an ADR at an Epcot resort that way we aren't tied down to either epcot or DHS. Will I be shooting myself in the foot if I don't make fastpasses for that day?

I don't think doing a day unplanned is a crazy thing but it also doesn't hurt to do what you're suggesting and plan something out just in case.

I book all our FP at MK and DHS first. Once I figure out where we're going each day....then I try to change them. The point is for some rides that you know are important to you, snag them as early as possible. We've done several days where I've changed them as we are entering a different park. Everyone knows that when we switch, we'll likely not get any of the popular rides.

Another vote from me that it certainly doesn't hurt to book them just in case. I find a lot of times we don't end up using them but at least they are there and you can swap them out and such if you'd like.

I would just book them based on an educated guess and then change them once you are there. Might as well!

Book them and leave a free day, move them around as you see fit. Rides like 7DMT will need a FP and I would hate or you to regret not having one

You have nothing to lose by booking them. Worst case? You don't use them or you switch them the day of.
I booked mine, but not for every day. I made sure I booked Anna Elsa and Mine Train as well as other attractions I would not want to wait in line for. However if you go and find there is not a bad wait, you can cancel and rebook new ones.

For MK we will be there on a couple 2am days. For some attractions I plan to just hit them very late at night assuming waits will be waaay down. Because I want to experience the new , I am hoping to hit Peter Pan very late at night with not to heavy a wait. Same with Mine Train queue.
