NOT attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

However, BOG will be a signature restaurant for dinner by that time of year.
You are right. I had forgotten about that and the menu is a bit more upscale and might not be a favorite of some families. Same concept could be used at another in park restaurant or there are tons of good TS places at resorts. When our kids were little, we would sometimes be too tired for a sit down meal and would just hit the resort food court or room service. Ton of options.

My understanding is that, because so many guests don’t want a short park day, the park is much less crowded on party days. You may well be able to get more done by 6 than you normally would get done by 10!

We went to MK on days that were MVMCP, and we got everything we wanted done, and then some, by the time the party crowd came in. We did show up at RD on each day and we left around 5:00pm or 5:30pm.

OP, I think you'll be fine getting there at RD on party days.

So we hope to be going on my Daughter's wish trip in Nov or Dec (still waiting on the final reveal). We get 3 park passes and were thinking of buying a MVMCP party pass to give us 4 Disney days. Since we get FP for all rides from MAW is it easy to knock out all the rides early? How are rides during MVMCP?

We are thinking

Day 1 Hollywood Studios for Toy Story Land and the Frozen Show (no other rides appeal to her) and then finishing the day at Animal Kingdom
Day 2 (Depending on Party nights ) Magic Kingdom and staying to see Happily Ever After
Day 3 Epcot
Day 4 MVMCP

Are you staying onsite? An evening dining at the hotel and then going for a nighttime swim at the pool could be fun. There is also always the option of Disney Springs.

Agree with the other posters you should avoid MK on the 14th at all costs. There was one non-party day the week we were there last December. We avoided it, but had dinner at 1900 park fare so encountered a lot of guests that had left MK and they were describing 3+ hour waits on MANY rides. A peek at the app confirmed they were not exaggerating. Better to have a short day at MK where you can actually go on rides than a full day where you can't ride anything.

Thank you so much! What a wealth of information. One final question: Would you recommend Kenny the Pirate as an accurate crowd calendar?
