Sadly, we eat cow for Thanksgiving, brisket. However, I did use bacon in the green beans and potatoes, and DH had black eye peas (not the band, says DD11) that he cooked with bacon.

Hey, there is NOTHING wrong with brisket for Thanksgiving. And, besides, you used the bacon in the green beans and non-singing black eyed peas. You're still okay with the swiners.
