Hello,
So, I am planning my trip for September (14 Nights) and we have a request in for the Grandstand Section. I know this is the first pick up/first drop off for the busses. This is important because we rely on Disney Transportation.

So, what else do I need to know?

Are there are any Grandstand buildings that are better than others? What is the best view?

How are the laundry facilities? We are in a Studio!

Regarding the resort. Any tip, tricks, or reccomendations? This is our first stay at SSR....

There is 2 washers and 4 dryers by the quiet pool in the grandstand area. My wife said that the dryers did not dry very well and took twice as long. 8101-8436 building was closest to the bus stop and the quiet pool. It was a 5 min walk to the main pool from our room. Building 9501-9836 on the upper floors facing EPCOT might give you a view of the fireworks. Check this link for building locations http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/Saratoga.htm.

The "8000" buildings (or "near quiet pool" buildings) have a slightly better locations. But it's only a 1 or 2 minute walk from the 9000 buildings, so not that big a deal. The 9000 buildings have some nice woodsy views (if you like that) while the 8000 views are all views of the resort/golf course.
