We got up yesterday at 3:30am went to the airport ( Providence,RI 6 AM flight ) within the hour we were there and set to go . I am a nervous flyer and yet this was one of the best flights I have been on in 30 years as my wife can tell you . :thumbsup2 , We got off in Orlando and were at Pop by 10:45 am ... We got to our room did a bit of unpacking and DW decorated the window Mickey Heads all over :yay: . Then we went to Downtown and crossed the street to get some beer to put in the room :cool1:. I know beer first ( but it was so good when we got back last night ) . Then it was off to MK for the rest of the day and night . :cool1: . We walked right onto , POTC , HM and IASW . Dinner at LTT :stir: YUMMY !!!! MNSSHP was happening , so we were off to Epcot. Love the transfer at TTC ( no more " down the ramp -- up the ramp " ). Soaring said 55 minute wait , 25 minutes later we were all done with our ride. :cheer2: We had discussed going to Boardwalk , but , ended up back at the room for an early night -- 11 PM. Showers and sleep --- what a beautiful thing !!! 5:45 AM time to begin another day . :cool1: We'll talk later LOL. As they say in "the World" see ya real soon. :wave2:

Sounds like a fabulous day! I've got a 7am flight out of Providence for our trip, so you have given me a good estimate of when we'll be at BCV that day. I hope today is as good as yesterday was!

Wait a minute, is there a new way to transfer at TCC now? No more down the ramp, up the ramp? How do you do it now?

Sounds like a great first day! Keep the reports coming - and I really want to hear about the TTC transfer!!! I hate the "down and up the ramp", - has always seemed crazy to me, lol. And I couldn't figure out your restaurant by the initials??? Jane

Sometimes, they open the gates that separate the Epcot monorail from the MK monorail at the TTC loading area. It's been that way for as long as I can remember. Not really something new but not something that they always do.

Sounds like a great beginning, do tell of the no up and down.:flower3:

IIRC if you're on the Express Monorail you don't have to use the ramp to get to the Epcot Monorail. If you're on the Resort Monorail you still have to go down the ramp and back up on the other side for Epcot.

Sounds like a great day to a wonderful vacation!! ;)

I love PVD, nicest little airport in the northeast, fyi for non- rhode islanders they calm the airports in providence but its really in Warwick RI
