I know the DIS does not allow photopass shares, so I hope that it is okay to ask a question about them.
I am wondering how 3 separate families would all share the same photo card while at Disney to do a share?
Thanks,
Brenda

You can have multiple cards on one account. For example, on our May trip we had several families with us. One cousin had a card, one had another card and somehow we ended up with three different cards. You just enter them all under the one photopass account and all the pictures taken on all the cards will appear.

I still do not understand. The families will pick up a card At Disneyworld and load it up with pictures, but then how do they all tie in together to do a share. I have never done this before. Thanks.

I think I have it figures out.....Each person creates their own account with their own card, then they send their account name to the administrator of the share. The Admin adds their ID to the Admins on the ordering page, then all the pics get combined. Is this right?

Nope.

1. Each family/group/person gets a Photopass card at WDW.
2. One person sets up an account at the Photopass website.
3. Each photopass card is entered on that one on-line account.
4. You can now order 1 cd of all the pics. edit- you can order additional copies, last time I looked it was in the twenty dollar range....

This is also why you should write down your photopass # or take a pic of the back of the card. If you loose it at Disney, get a new card. When you go on the Photopass website you can enter the numbers of both the lost card and the new card(s).

Note-after the pics are taken you have 30 days to enter the photopass card number on-line. Once it is entered, you have 30 days to order pics, etc.

No, each family does not create their own account. One account per Photopass CD. Everyone needs to load their photos to the same account.

The most complete guide that I've ever seen for the Photopass can be found at StitchKingdom.com. You might want to check it out for information on how to go about what you're trying to do.

One person should set up the online account and password, then enter her photopass card # and do her edits. Then tell person #2 the account name and password and #2 enters her photopass card on the same acct and does her edits. Then #3 does the same as #2. Then one person orders the cd and all the pics are on the same account. The site is pretty slow that is why I suggest doing them separately.

:thumbsup2 I sent myself a text message with the card number. We ended up with several and I lost one and luckily had that number in my phone.

Taking a picture of the photopass card is one of the best tips of all WDW tips I've ever received. I lost my card a few trips back, and I was involved in a share so I had pre-paid and didn't take the picture. I was so disappointed. Luckily, we still had a day and a half to try to re-create some of the pictures...but now one of the first things I do is take a pic of the card!

If you're not going at exactly the same time, and if people have difficulties in listening to you, expect problems. They have to know that they absolutely CANNOT enter them into their own online account. Yes, exceptions have been made by the photopass people...never expect an exception to be made in the future, though.

So make sure they know that they are to give YOU the numbers, to enter on the ONE online account.

They can, however, look at their pictures at the photo centers...that doesn't link them to an account. In that way they can make sure all the big pictures are there and good...

Thank you so much. I understand how this works now. I am happy that my group is all going during a 21 day time frame.
