We are thinking of doing dinner at the Trail's End. We are on DDP and have 4 adults and a 2 year old in the party. Is it good? We were going to the HDDR, but could not get the time with DDP and needed a floor seat due to one in our party being in a electric scooter.
Also I have heard there is pony rides for my DD2 If so what are the times and price?
One more question the campfire---we are going in October what time does it start and when do Chip and Dale come out? Also is there a fee?
Thanks so much!!!!

Campfire starts round 7:pm in Oct. There is no fee. However,,if you want to toast marshmallows , bring your own sticks and mallows,, or for a few bucks you can purchase them at the campfire. The pony rides are 4.00.

WE wouldn't waste a table service at the Trail-End(just my opinion), unless it was strictly for the sake of convenience.

I'll 2nd that. We did this in April, but it was the only thing that fit in the day's schedule. Not what I'd call the cullinary highlight of that trip, but it was a bit more relaxed than some of the others.

This is the thing we added a extra day due to Airtran changing flights again. We are not adding a extra day at the parks. So I can get Grand Floridian Cafe or Trails End as of today with a time that is good for us. Everything else is either going to cut it too close to getting in and getting there or way to late at night for a 2 year old. I was thinking that there was more to do (campfire and pony rides) with Trails End, but if the food is not good then maybe we should go with the Grand Floridian Cafe and take it easy.

You will get way more GOOD food for your credit (all you can eat) at trails end and the fort is an attraction in itself where the Grand is just.....well, a little on the stuffy side. Trails End is much more child friendly (think playgrounds) and also the horses.

Trails End is fine for something quick to eat nothing to rave about but will fill you up and good for the kids. The HoopDiDoo Revue is really good you will enjoy it maybe not the 2 year old but I see a lot of tots in highchairs in there, Ohanas has to be the best of all at the Polyenisan. Be sure to make your reservations for all your dining now they get full and usually don't take walk ups.
We just came back from the Fort this past Tuesday.
You may also want to reserve a golf cart now too. you can always cancel it.

We have all the other reservations made those 180 days out. We are staying at Music family suite, but when we added the additional day we need to find some place to eat. I am trying to get into Ohana's but have not had any luck unless we want to eat after 9:30pm and that is way past my DD 2 bed time. I think unless I can get into Ohanas I will be keeping the one for Trails End. I think DD will enjoy the other things to do on the grounds and this will be the only time that we have to visit Fort W.
Thanks

You should check to see if Mickey's Backyard BBQ will be going on the night you will be there. It's a buffet that is family friendly and includes adult beverages and ice cream. Your 2 year old can dance and make some noise without bothering anyone and it's a good place for character photos. It's outside under a pavillion and you won't have a problem with electric scooter. :thumbsup2

Unless it mess'es with your time schedule, the Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge has a very large variety ,great, buffet,, SOMETHING FOR EVERyONE.
And you can also see some of the African animals that roam around the resort after or before dinner.
As long as I'm on the Dining Plan and I'm not putting out cash, I wouldn't eat at the Trails Ensd for dinner,, cept for the sake of convenience.

Thanks everyone~~ I kept trying today to get Ohana's and I finally got it. So that is where we are going to go.
