Not a bug, but something that VMK should notice.

What should I do with this card. It was in a prizepack, but there is no code on it. The CM had no way of knowing bc it was bundled with a bunch of others with a rubberband

I hit all the bad luck... didin't I?

Did anyone else get a blank card before?

Bad luck? I'm sure that card was meant for me. I would contact disney Guest services and see what they say send them a copy if you have too, It is unlikely VMK will do anything but disney might. On a side note a card with no code is an error maybe it is worth more to card collectors.

On Ebay, I saw a card without a code go for $30.

Wow, I thought it was only me. I got one too. I plan on taking it back with me on my next trip, but, maybe as collector items go, we should hang on to these!? Mine has a partial code. :tink:

Note to self: Look at card codes before leaving disney....

Maybe call the vmk number, that some has...
or find room to go on another trip :teeth:

another note to self: Rub code off so you can ask parents to go on another trip ;)

Just another way to bring people back to the parks.....

a card with no code certainly WOULD be worth a little more to card collectors like myself. It is "unspoiled" and therefore in better condition! but honestly, not that much more. I did pick up printing proofs of some vmk cards once

Next time you are at the park try asking for a new card and show them that one but also ask if you can keep the one with no code too.

what is a printing proof?

printing proofs are usually cards which are created in the first print run as tests - sometimes they are only one color, so the cards i got, one was all blue and one was all green and one was blank, but the backs were all finished - they can sometimes be missing parts of images which do not need that color - there are cards out there which may be labeled as a proof, but really are not, some trading card manufacturers even "produce" them, but really, they arent proofs, just "chase" cards - quite often a proof will be a little... not right - maybe a crooked image, or misprinted word, mispellings etc...

Same thing happened to me with a Suitcase Sofa. I always check my codes now before leaving the park, but the blank one might be of some value if you are a collector.

I have on without a code and one with a partial code. I am going to to take them back with me next trip.

Ok not to condone or comdemn an Ebay sale, but if you were willing to do so, I could imagine you getting a decent price from a card collector on a defect like this and with that money, earn enough to buy 3 or 4 BTM Teleporters. Just a thought. One other possibility is find someone who would be willing to trade you your card for two or three cards with a code if they happen to be a serious collector of things which are rare. If you want you can PM me and I would be more than happy to gift you a BTM Teleporter in the meantime as I have a few from the parks just sitting around.

Everyone wanting to gift me a BTM Teleporter:

Please do not. I go to DLR very frequently, and I'll ask if they can give me a new card, and if I can also keep the card. And Anyways, I got 6 prize packs. I think 5 sets of BTM teleporters in enough for now.
