Up bright&early login to myDE. No slinky dog dash FP left! was able to get FOP on the next day. for 9/1/18 are crowds going to be heavy?

Keep checking! On my FP day I was able to get SDD for days 60+5 (12:10) and 60+7 (8:35am) BUT some kind soul here on the dis posted that there was a lot of additional FPs suddenly available. This was 46 days out from our arrival. Really keep looking!

Which day were you looking for? It's probably near impossible to find a FP on your first day there, as everyone who's checking in before you has already been able to book FPs for that day. But I second to always keep checking, you never know what may pop up.

Our window opened today too. I was prepared for no SDD, but having 7dmt already gone was, well not surprising really, but more 6am grumpy face.
I did get FOP at 60 + 2 early afternoon so that’s good.

I ask along with the others what day did you try for? I didn't even try the first few days of our trip and opted to pull a SDD FP for our 7th day instead.

Aug 31. Party of 5. I tried for even 1 earlier and didn’t see it.
I’m assuming it being a party night is limiting us.

I had to look on the very last day of my trip and today was my fast pass day too. We really only have 1 day planned for Hollywood Studios and it's early in our trip (9/2/18) so I wasn't holding out hope anyway. But look later in your trip as everyone else is suggesting (if your park days are flexible).

Gotcha. The ones at 30 days are late night ones, so that makes sense.

Well I got screwed because Disney didn’t link my resort reservations so the best I could get was SDD Sep 3rd about 30 min before we should be headed to the airport

My 60 day also arrived this morning. I tried for SDD on day 2 as a long-shot, didn't get it, so just chose an AS2 instead for that day. I was able to get SDD on days 5,6, & 9 though (party of 2). Again, on a long shot, I was aiming for a FoP on day 1. Didn't get that (obviously), but had no problem getting one for later in the week. We like this attraction, but it's not the greatest-ever, must-do that it seems to be for a lot of other people, so we will be fine with our one set of FPs for it.

I’ll be there that time too and I also got up early to get a FP on the MDE app. Turns on Disney never connected my resort reservation to my account even though it showed on the app so by the time I called and figured everything out there was nothing left. So infuriating.

our 60 day window opened today and we are making a quick trip before our AP expire. No SDD for 60 or 61, we are going to rope drop and hope for the best one day; hit at closing second day and see what's what. Hoping they expand the extra hours through Labor Day weekend but that's not on the calendar just yet.

Got Slinky on 60 +4 at 7:15pm and 60 +6 at 10am and 60 +7 at 11:15am (all party of 3)

I actually swapped the day 6 one for FoP in the end once the system came back up.
