And four weeks after you people in the US started to get their cruise documents, we finally got them here in Germany as well... I wonder whether they made them swim on their own.

I am not sure if name tags with stateroom number are such a good idea if you keep your room key in your lanyard. Names would be good, possibly with hometown or DISboard name?

On another note, does anyone know if they upgraded the door locks on the Magic to RFID like the Fantasy and Dream, or are they still magnetic strip reader slots? Just curious.

And we just received our cruise docs in Canada on Friday.

Hi all... it looks like the weather seems to be taking a turn for the better... we may not need to pack the parkas after all?!!!

This May has been unseasonably cold in Europe, so there is hope that the current temperatures will warm up nicely until we are there. But I would recommend to be prepared for rainy and cold weather nevertheless. My rule of thumb is that if you are prepared, you won't need it, but if you are not, you regret bringing it.

USPS to Canada is like frozen molasses... Everything has to go through customs and that can take a while. Our documents always arrive two weeks before sail date, almost to the day. One cruise, the documents arrived only 9 days before we sailed, which was 2 days before we left home because we did a week at WDW before that cruise. Look at a map and you'll see central Alberta is way up in nowhere land. It will take us less time to fly to Copenhagen next week than it will to fly to Florida later this year.

So excited!!! My oldest is sad that the school year is ending. We are picking him up early from the last day of school and heading to the airport. This should cheer him up! Lol

Just read earlier posts and realized that the group was closed in April. Bummer. I guess my DH (who just asked me to look into it a few days ago) and I will need to do better planning for our next cruise!
