Norway Magic 6/6/2015

Hello!

My family and I just finished up our first cruise on the Disney Wonder to Alaska. It was GREAT! We had so much fun, we decided to book another cruise. It looks like we will be joining you all on the Disney Magic to Norway! I am so excited I have already started planning and we have only been home 2 days.

:)

Welcome to the group :) A few of us just did the May Alaska cruise :) I guess we like the cooler weather and the beautiful scenery.

Very very excited for this cruise

yeah, we loved it! The weather was beautiful the whole week. We are from Western WA so the weather was just like home and perfect for us.

Anyone know what kind of dinner party might be on this cruise? Pixar? Pirates? Something new?

I'm guessing (and hoping) that there is bound to be a Norway themed dinner and entertainment one night
I'm sure that DCL would look to incorporate Frozen in some way as well.
Pirates night just doesn't seem right somehow!

I want to see Mickey and Minnie in viking gear! I'm sure Elsa and Anna will be on the ship and I hope they do something with them as we will be in their homeland.

I didn't think of that, but that would be way too awesome. They have Minnie in every other type of costume, so why not viking??!! Brilliant

I'm thinking they will have Minnie in a beautiful traditional Norwegian skirt & blouse and have Goofy or Donald in Viking wear. We'll see.

Hi! We just cruised the June 14 Alaska sailing. It was wonderful! While on board, we booked the June 6 Norway sailing. We are so excited. Taking my mother-in-law on this one. She is very excited as well. I look forward to keeping up with this board between now and then. I'm Mel, my dh is Lee. Dd1: Analese (age 8). Dd2: Mariele (age 5). Mil Linda.

Welcome to the group. This is such an exciting cruise:goodvibes

Welcome Kindlecruiser!!! I have a daughter who is 8 now, and will be 9 on the cruise. Glad to know there are lots of girls in that age range that will be onboard!

I find that I mostly use the FB group...it seems easier to follow the different threads over there. I know there was just a big thread about FB killing the DisMeets...I felt guilty and had to come check this, lol.

Closer to sailing, I'd love to maybe find a family with a daughter close to my daughter's age that is doing the B2B that we could maybe request to dine with...we are doing the late dining this time, which is a first for us. But, I wanted the extra time in port rather than having to run back to get ready for dinner. I know DD is going to be "starving to death" by that time though!

My dd will be nine at sailing time also! We are just doing Norway. Not b2b. I came on today to try to figure out how to get on the FB group. I will read back in the thread to try to figure it out.
