Norway Characters

Does anyone know if the buffet at Norway now includes Elsa and Anna from Frozen? Also, does Rapunzel make an appearance anywhere? Thanks much.

No, Anna and Elsa as of yesterday when they switched parks are appearing only at their meet and greet at MK at Princess Fairytale Hall. Rapunzel only meets at her meet and greet at MK at Princess Fairytale Hall. (She has moved into a room with Cinderella as of yesterday. Their line is sepaate from Anna and Elsa's line).

Also, I should probably point out that Akershus in Norway is only part "buffet". It is really more of a salad bar, although it does have cold cuts and salmon. The main meal is ordered from a menu and served at your table.

Oh, then it has changed. We haven't been there in over a decade, but the last time we went there were no characters and it was a buffet. I think I'd like the menu better as the buffet was not that good.

As for Rapunzel, she is known to make occasional appearances at CRT. Based on reports here on the Dis, she seems to be one of the replacement princess whenever one of the "regular" princesses is unable to appear. However, there is no way to know when she'll be there, so I would not count on her appearing. Similarly, reports also indicate that Mulan, Mary Poppins, and other characters have been known to appear as the alternate.

As of yesterday, Anna and Elsa appear only at the Princess Fairytale Hall in MK. Prior to that, they had a meet and greet in Norway, in an area that used to be part of the store (they have never appeared at the Akershus restaurant), adjacent to Kringla Cafe. Unfortunately, the Norway pavilion was unable to efficiently handle the demand, which resulted in 4-5 hour lines daily, and up to 7 hours when things got busy. So the ladies have moved to MK which has better infrastructure for heavily popular meet and greets.

Anna and Elsa M&G was originally at Norway (a separate M&G, not at Akershus) and experienced 3-7 hour waits. The move to MK was undertaken largely to reduce wait times somewhat since the town hall can accommodate more guests through a combination of factors (one being "magic").
