Hi
I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the subscription recognition on their anti-virus ????

I'm not the most knowledgable on virus software but have always been encouraged by others to stay away from Norton. On the basis that it is a virus :confused3

Hope you sort your computer out :)

  I have always been told that Norton is the safest and most effective Anti-Virus protection on the market. It's certainly the best-selling and we've never had any problems.

I had a load of problems when I renewed my subscription last year and once it did get it to work Norton used so much resource that my PC ran so slow!

I've since ditched Norton and got a free virus program - AVG. My PC runs so much faster without Norton installed :)

Not up to now and I have had Norton in various issues over quite a few years. There may be something on Norton's website that can help.

I thought Norton was the best; I have had it for years and never had any problems.

Better check whats going on via their webby; I've notice my computer is slow too, but it's always been that way..

In a word "yes". When I renewed my Norton subscription it seemed fine, but a couple of months later I was getting messages every time I accessed a new web page telling me I wasn't protected and my subscription needed renewing.

I spent ages trying to follow all the Norton website instructions and downloads but appeared to get nowhere at all with it. I just got used to error messages all the time

Then, a few weeks ago, I realised I hadn't seen any error messages for a while - when I checked the subscription details it was all showing okay  :confused3

Hope you manage to sort it out

Great news that everyone still likes Norton. Hope you fix your subscription :thumbsup2

Hilary you have discribe exactly the problems we are having, sounds like it may sort itself out, hopefully :thumbsup2

I had a similar problem but again, it sorted itself out :confused3

If you have aol you have problems running norton. Seemingly the two programs just don't work well together.

I dont have Norton as I have AVG, but my daughter has Norton on her lap top and the exact same thing happened to her a few weeks back, and it did sort itself out within a few days. :thumbsup2

I've been getting that message a couple of times now. Hope it will sort itself out.
