Hey there, hi there, ho there!

My non-disney husband (and they say inter-amusement marriages never work) and I live in Toledo. I suppose I should clarify that. We reside in Toledo. I'm not sure anyone actually lives in Toledo. Anway, anyone in the NW Ohio / SE Michigan area, we'd love to hear from you. Perhaps with enough Disney Delta Waves I can convert the Mrs.

Gregory party:

My partner and I live in a NW burb of Detroit. I am originally a Ohio boy born and raised but have grown rather fond of MI.

We made our initial investment in DVC in 2003 and have been to WDW in 03 and 05. We went last year with my extended family and this year we are taking his. He likes Disney but said a few months back that he does not want to go every year. I told him that he really should have disclosed that very important piece of information when we were courting. :lmao:

We have compromised...
2007 - Las Vegas
2008 - WDW in December. :woohoo:

You people have Cedar Point! What do you need with Disney? :rotfl2:

I could start a very bad rumor (This is not true) that Disney is buying Cedar Fair and the Hotel Breakers is the next DVC resort. :rotfl2:

Cedar Point is tons of fun but it is no Disney.

Cedar Point has roller coasters that DO NOT fit in buildings! LOL

But honestly, I think its a matter of what's in your back yard.

I can go to Disney any time I want, Cedar Point is a vacation for me!

Hi Syyman!

Nice to FINALLY see someone from the area on here. Now there's two gay Dis'ers on here. If it's any consolation, the Mrs. just doesn't get the whole Disney thing at all. In fact, he's never been ... can you imagine? Ah well, I could get the marriage annulled for irreconcilable differences, but whaddya gonna do?

Mike Mike Mike.... you ole Drum Corp Cap'n... Cedar Point is WAY too scary for me. I'd rather die on Mission Space (in AC) than on some roller coaster way too close to the heavens that I can ever imagine outside of a plane (in the sun). Besides, it's in OHIO! :-)

OK OK OK

Come on down, and bring me some Tony Packo's chili dogs!

You want Tony's pickles with that? :thumbsup2

Seriously... next time you come up here, if it's not a family reunion kinda thing (as I recall last time mom, etc all went) let me (us?) know ... We'd love to welcome back a Toledo boy banished to the Florida wilderness.

Actually I'd love some Packo's Pickles and Peppers. I usually bring a huge carry on bag home full of them!

You can skip the hot dogs though, they are not as good as they used to be, and trust me, I'm an East Side boy!

Mom just went home to Toledo for a week, she says Netty's still has great chili dogs though.

Guess you'll have to drive or put em in your checked luggage now! No explosive pickles allowed on board anymore. Bummer.

Never been to Netty's, but I can see it from one of my classrooms.
