Here in Pennsylvania we are now starting to see sweet corn from Florida that looks wonderful in the store, but when you cook it there is not much flavor. Has anyone found a place that serves it and tastes like when we get it out of the field in August? It would be nice to get a little taste before August!

We bought corn at the supermarket and cooked it back at the villa. It was very good. IMHO Corn is best when prepared the same day it's picked. I cook it the same day I buy it. It's the best you can do, unless you buy it at a farmstand. :earsgirl:
