Monica is going with NCL this May. I'll make sure and talk to her about it when I see her in May.

Gydell

That is right that Monica is going with NCL as I emailed her and realised that she is going in May... which I thought next year but not..

I spoke to DH about the cruise options/prices last night and much to my surprise he was very keen to switch to a suite on the NCL June 2010 sailing. We also checked out RCCL sailing from Harwich and their prices came in cheaper too... So I think that we will be cancelling - £4000+ is just too much money to ignore and I doubt DCL will drop their prices by that much... :sad2:

Good idea!:thumbsup2 I must ask her what she knows about the cruise line when I see her a week on Saturday...

Hi

I had been discussed with Brenda and I got NCL brochure and it look so beautiful and love that Penthouse too also Villa Gardens wow...

I checked with RCCL too and both prices are very realible... I don't Know why DCL more expensive.. maybe something with ports? also exchange money here is very poor too...

RCCL and NCL accept british pounds which make more easy...

We booked with DCL 'Dover to Barcelona' which the kids are happy with it...I don't think that the kids are bother with Baltic...

Maybe next time we should try with NCL/RCCI for a change?

Trouble that we love DCL:thumbsup2

I asked Monica to feedback about her NCL Cruise for Baltic so she will do it:thumbsup2

Well we have taken the plunge.booked for the 4th June in a Penthouse suite and have cancelled Disney. Cost about $6800 which includes gratuities against nearly $11,000 on Disney for a category 5 with no extras. Just could not see the benefit of paying nearly double

I will gladly tell everyone all my thoughts on NCL & the cruise. Also any tidbits that may be good to know & things about the ports themselves.

I sail on the 28th of April, back to Dover on the 10th of May.

:goodvibes

Anyone that is in the Orlando area and is free on May 16th and would like to get together let me know. Monica will be there and can tell us all about her Baltic cruise. There will also be others from our 2010 cruise.

How many formal nights do you think we will have? We had 2 formal and 1 semi on the TA. Too many for me!

My guess would be close to that. If that is the case I might book Palo on one of those formal nights that way I don't have to pack so much formal gear.
