Northern Sights & Mickey's MAGICal Delights - 1st Baltic cruise - June 12,2010

Costs for this trip are as minimal as I can make them....sharing costs w/ my parents & a good friend (4 of us going). My Dad has always wanted to take me to Spain....wanted to do this next year, but last year Dad got diagnosed w/ prostate cancer so figured I'd do this trip this year just in case & while he's still up for it (he's worried once/if he starts treatment that his quality of life will go down & he won't want to/be able to travel as much).

I get back into Orlando at 1155pm on the 17th, so won't be home until about 1am on the 18th.

Hope you & your family have a wonderful trip! Best to your Dad. Do you think I can fit in your suitcase?

We were just confirming our reservations for Jan @ WDW Animal Kingdom & I'm so sad - Concierge level is full!!! I was so looking forward to the morning safari. They told us to keep checking back, maybe with a little pixie dust We will get it!

Sorry Ihaven't been around lately - had to finish up my christmas cards plus I've discovered having a DVR is controlling my like

We never had one until we moved here - now I watch even more tv than before

Plus I've started playing on Facebook this week.

I will write my cards this week. I seem to have a tradition of doing it just after our first son's birthday which is tomorrow. He will be 38!!! Now I do feel really OLD!!

THAT'S IT!! I have got to find some way to move to Florida.

I was just checking on airfar to Pair and to Lonodn and found out that we can fly "to" Paris and then "from" London for the same price as a RT to either city.

So our latest plan will be to fly to Paris, spend 2 days there, then go up to Dover, get on the boat for 12 days, come back and take the train from Dover to London and spend a day or two there before flying home.

Anyone else doing this?

Better to do Paris on the front and London on the back end or the other way around or does it matter?

How much time would it take to get from Paris to Dover? Cost?

We did something similar when we went on the Princess British Isles cruise. We flew from Newark NJ to CDG Paris. Took the Disney Bus to DLP, stayed three nights at the Hotel New York, took the Eurostar train from the DLP station to London, stayed at a hotel near the train station, then on the day of the cruise, we took the train to Southampton. On the return we stayed at a hotel at Gatwick for 2 nights, took the train into London, and then flew home to Newark from Gatwick.
We are going to do the same on our cruise, but Dover is farther away from London then Southampton, so we will have to do more research.

Its Ok, I get a shock when I realize I'm an almost 40 year old woman! Still feel like a 20 something trying to get it all together. Guess I'll never feel like I have it all together!!

That is right!!! I admit I don't feel 21 inside anymore - perhaps 40 though. In the theme parks I'm a big kid.

I remember turning 40 and I didn't like it. 50 wasn't too bad, but 60???!!!

I remember exercising - Jane Fonda, feel the burn and all that, as I didn't want to be fat and 40. I'm still fat and 60!!!
