Now that Jackie and Monica have canceled this cruise, is there anyone else that is thinking about leaving our group?
We are on the edge. We will be 64 & 65 at time of sailing, if the economy doesn't bounce back, we might be looking to cancel or change to another line (Princess). We won't do anything yet...

I sure hope you don't change!

If you deduct the price of the airfare it has to make it more reasonable!

It is still a very expensive cruise!! Whilst no airfare is great, I don't think the word reasonable comes into the pricing unfortunately!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Just take the price of the PC cruise and airfare and the stays before and after and see if there is a big difference. It's the ports that I'm concerned about!

This would be 14 nights, no before or after, or airfares. The cost of this cruise is about $3300 more for the same stateroom than the PC(cruise only) and for 3 days less. I understand about the ports, but as Monica has found out you can do those at a lesser cost. I think we all think that we would prefer DCL though and obviously up till now we were prepared to pay that premium.

Just give it as a surprise for John!

I changed the amount - forgot the cost of both cruises without looking!!!

We're still in, but if the economy doesn't improve we will also have to cancel. I figure there's more than a year to go before we have to completely commit, so there's lots of time for anything to happen. In the meantime, we'll keep buying lottery tickets!

There has been no advertising the European cruises over here yet as far as I can see. I'm sure DCL will have a push at some point.

Unless something drastic happens in the economy I do think that DCL will do something. Not sure what. :confused3

Powerball is over $100 million for tonight!!!! Big money, big money....:cloud9:

Oh no!
At this rate DCL will have a ship with a dozen passengers!
I understand that!

:rotfl: Surely there will be more than that.

On the plus side, if the ship is relatively empty we won't have to fight for palo ressies.
100 million!......I hope my hubby bought a ticket. If we win, drinks are on us. :thumbsup2
