Okay, so it looks like there is interest in a DisMeet on the first sea day of the cruise. I'm happy to organize, but does anyone know who we need to contact at DCL to request a place to get everyone together? I've PMd the person on my last cruise who organized that one, but just in case I don't hear back, if someone here knows, I'd really appreciate some guidance...

If I remember correctly, we'll be a little at the mercy of DCL for time and venue, so stay tuned and as soon as I have some details, I will fill everyone in!

We'd be interested in the meet and greet on the 1st day of sea. It's always confusing on the first day, trying to get settled etc...

I just checked and there are only 3 cabins left that are connecting. 1 cat 7 and 2 cat 9s. There were 9 left yesterday so someone has gotten upgraded!

It's not us but we wish it was! We're category 9 w/ connecting cabins.

Ok we just got our DOC's and didn't get upgraded... So things gettin closer and still haven't thought of packing!!!

We're coming in the June 11. Was there some poeple that was going to try to meet that night? If so where? Also any ideas on a place to stay by airport?

Here is what we're doing 14th viking heritage, 15th city/harbor tour, 16th berlin past/present, 18th st. pete's shopping then evening canal tour,
19th city highlights & hermitage, 20th helsinki highlights & finnish food tasting, 21st royal palace & water ways. I'm sure you all really wanted to hear. But thought i would be nice to see that someone else maybe on the same adventure that you know.

So now I'll just will set back count the days and then go crazy on the idea of packing....boy i hate that idea! Hate to pack!!! Always bring to much and always forget something.

So there you go....not much more to say( I know you all saying thank god )

As we were talking about the trip my DD reminded me that she wouldn't be calling me for Fathers Day this year. And smart me asked why? We'll be on the cruise.

I'm still doing the no doc dance I think ours are going to be awhile if they go to our TA first since she only works on Fridays We might have to make a special trip down to her office to pick them up.

I'm interested in the meet, whenever it will be! If they can bring their beers with them the guys might be with me

DS and BIL docs arrived yesterday so they are doing the dance
They just learned that since they did not book the hotel through Disney even though it is a Disney hotel that their transfers don't work from the airport to the hotel. Any suggestions?? Thanks Sue

BTW - does anyone have a 6-year-old girl coming on this cruise??? There seem to be a great group of 9-year-old girls, but my 6-year-old is really upset that she doesn't have a "friend" on the cruise yet!

Which hotel? We are flying into Heathrow and taking the tube to ours (Ren. Chancery Hotel--probably not spelled right!). It is a straight shot--one line, exit Holborn and walk a block.

Can't help you there--but I know my 9 yr old DD is excited about meeting up with the other girls her age. My 16 yr old DS is not inclined to visit the new teen disboard site--but I know he is looking forward to hanging out with other teens (or anyone but his parents!)...

I have room 7631 assigned for the 5/26 and the 6/5 Repo. I rebooked the 6/12 Baltic to get the lower price and I just got my room assignment. Room 7631!! Same room, no moving. Yeah!!!

I would think it would actually be easier on them if they do just leave you put.

Just spoke to my dad who drives tour buses around Europe and he said he was in Oslo Norway and it was snowing heavily!

May be considering some warmer clothes too.

I will be up for a dismeet too!

Sometimes things are bound to go right.

That appears to be a handicapped-accessible room. Have you stayed in one before? Photos I've seen look interesting - big wide open floor plan. Certainly more square footage. Sound like a good deal for the reduced rate. Congratulations.

I travel with a scooter and do have some mobility issues. That is the reason for the accessible room. However, I just didn't hope for an accessible room after the rebooking process, then getting the same room, I was floored!!
