We're heading back home from our weekend at Disney. We had a great time, did a lot of pin trading, but it was miserably hot. I don't know if I want to go back down there again this time of year, I think we'll stick with Nov. it's much cooler and less crowded.

Rita - congrats on getting your ticker set!

Emily - I do not think I would like it at WDW this time of year - we have a cruise in August - a 3 day cruise, but we did not add on WDW, we opted for a B2B instead - so we will be on the ship 7 days.

For Fish Extender gifts - I think we need to remember that luggage space will be at a premium - at least ours will be, think small or flat or consumable! I will try to follow my own advise

I agree a B2B cruise this time of year is much better than WDW. It was just way too hot and way too many people. Luckily we were in the pin event most of the time and in the AC and we also didn't go down there with the intent of riding very much. I think we only rode 4 attractions the whole weekend. We did manage to snag a Fastpass for Soarin' Saturday morning. Friday it was showing 120 min. wait in the afternoon. No thanks!!!!

They finally are showing flights for the beginning of June next year......now we just have to wait to see when the return flights show up....we're looking at 2 weeks after the cruise....

Has anyone heard any hints about the possible excursions or when they might announce them?

I think it will be sometime this fall. The Magic leaves on the TA in April so the first ressies for it can be made right after Christmas. Hopefully they'll release them all at the same time and not stagger them.

Yes, I have been thinking about FE gifts, too. I have some pretty cool ones for our DVC cruise in Sept. But that's easy, I don't have to fly and we can take as much luggage as we want, since we are driving from home,

BUT NEXT year wil be an entirely different kettle of fish.....get it? FISH!

I will have to do some thinking about that one......Of course if I empty a bag, that means I will have room to bring home souveniers!
