Northern Night sheet set ??

I am also in the market for sheets. After reading the other thread about needing sheets I decided to look up Northern Nights. Which type do you prefer? When I was looking they had different thread counts, different types of cotton. Which is softer and last longer? Is any one type better than the other?

I just look for a high thread count and the right color I need, and price.
The sateen feels very soft......DH likes these.
