North To Alaska--May 3, 2011 on the Disney Wonder

Good Evening fellow cruisers...

I can't believe that this cruise is still 549 days away and I have already started ordering my Alaskan cruise scrapbook stuff....I was on the Scrap Your Trip site tonight looking for some other stuff and saw the Alaskan cruise stuff...I don't know how it happened but most of it ended up in my online shoping cart!!! :confused3

I hope everyone has a great halloween....it looks like we probably won;t get many kids here as the weather report for tomorrow is heavy rains (:scared1:) and high winds...we are keeping our fingers crossed for a dry basement.

Good morning everyone! Another day closer to Alaska!!!!

Ken P.

We'll keep ours crossed for you too!

thanks...we ended up not getting the rain they called for but we did get some pretty high winds...needless to say most of the leaves are off the trees and are now on our lawn....if we could only figure out where we put the leaf blower!!!

Well...it's been well over an hour and no trick 'r treaters....so we turned our light off....we had a grand total of 9 kids...now what to do with the rest of the 32 pack of pingles.

Fish Extender gifts!!!

We had under 30 kids for trick-or-treat. I like the FE idea, but I doubt I can keep DH and DD out of candy that long. :rotfl2:

We only had 1 trick-or-treater. I'm sending the rest of the candy to Darrell's office on Monday.

Good Morning Kiddies.
Sitting at MCO waiting for our afternoon flight home.:sad1:

It was a Lovely Cruise.:goodvibes
Way too short.
Got to see Ducky. Guess he is retired now.
Did not see George, but was told he was there with the rest of the entourage.
Wanted to Trick or Treat on the ship, but we stayed in Nassau too long.
The T or T started at 4 and ran right into Pirate Night friday.

The pre-cruise was great also. Got to see a lot of old friends.
Thanks to Leslie for her bit of help with our trip to EPCOT.
Thanks to Lynn and Scott for being our guides thru the F & W thinige. That was great.

MNSSHP was a blast. Got a bunch of pics and vids, so I am sure I have plenty of material for my video scrapbook.
The parade was the best. Really enjoyed it. Twice.

Like the changes to the POC ride and the Haunted Mansion.
I am sure most of you have seen them already, but we had not been there for a long time. Definitely planning to do that again.

Talked with quite a few folks about the Alaska cruise. Lots of interest. $$$$ seems to be the drawback.
The crew all seem to want to do that cruise also, but since it is so far off, they don't know.

Have a great day everyone.

We only had about 25. Got lots of Mike and Ike's leftover. Now....just not to eat them all.....

It was a pretty quiet Halloween for us. We had no trick or treaters at all, so we just ate all the candy.:rotfl: Had a few friends over and spent the evening watching Halloween movies. A very good evening.

Yesterday we completely switched holidays and started decorating for Christmas. It takes a little bit for us to fully decorate and with a trip to WDW and the end of the month the earlier we start the better. We got the tree up and lit, had a few issues with the pre-lit at first. It's not decorated yet, but we'll work on that through the week and got some other decorations up. We'll do the outside decorations in a couple of weeks, probably right before Thanksgiving.

Definitely a very busy weekend.

It looks like this thread is going to take a back seat to the repo thread. I guess that's natural selection at work. Either way, everyone is going to have lots of fun.

I'm really looking forward to the Alaska part of the cruise. Been waiting for this for a long time.

Ken P.

We're definitely looking forward to Alaska. It was one of those states I figured would be far down on my list of seeing one day. And to get to go to Canada too, that's icing on the cake for me.

Good Morning All... It's another beautiful Fall day here in NJ.

I've been MIA, home with the flu bug... but not really the flu :confused3 just really sick. I think I've turned the corner back to civilization!

With the Dream coming out we've been so excited. Now that that's booked, we hope to settle in for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then our sites will be full throttle for the REPO and ALASKA... and the DREAM.

There won't be as much planning for the DREAM, but ALASKA is another story. I need to get ready to book those excursions. The Dog Sledding sounds great!

Georgie, I hope you get over that bug soon. I'm hoping we stay healthy. So far so good. The only one who's gotten sick was Jason's mom and we managed not to catch anything when she was sick, so fingers crossed it stays that way.

I've got to plan for the Baltic before I can plan for Alaska, but I can work on both at the same time. The Baltic will just take some priority for a little bit. Definitely some exciting cruises coming up.

Thanks Emily! :goodvibes WOW! You're doing the Baltic too! That's Great! :yay:

There is definitely a LOT on all of our plates. I know I need to slow down a bit and enjoy each day. Sometimes I look forward to things but don't enjoy the journey!!!

Once the New Year festivities are over, I am hoping to set our sights on all of our upcoming cruises! :cloud9:

Yeah, first one on June 12. We're really looking forward to that. We've never been to any of those countries except for flying into Gatwick on our way to Barcelona for the TA home in '07. We're really looking forward to Warnemunde (Berlin) since our families were from Germany. It's somewhere we've always wanted to go.

Now if they'd just release those darned shore excursion we could really start planning.:lmao:
