no really, are we getting a DDW litho on the Inaugural Alaskan cruise??

We have been on 3 inaugural cruises - Panama Canal, Med and Baltic and each time we received a signed DDW litho in our cabin. They are great because the include some of the scenery. For the Baltic the white clifts of Dove have Disney Characters like Mt. Rushmore. I was also hoping for a litho for the repo cruise that includes the GG Bridge but that may be hoping for too much. interesting about dog sledding not being offered.....my husband and I did a Princess Alaskan cruise at the end of May and it was offered but they were all canceled due to white out conditions....and it was really cold still so maybe they don't want to disappoint people.....I really wanted to do the bear excursions but those happen later in the summer....bummer....

What are the times listed in port for the May cruises? Our cruise in late June seems to be in port at different port times I think? I wonder if this is due to tides or daylight condtions....

You can not find the times until you are open for booking then going and select the excursion. I will have time tomorrow to fill in the gaps. I don't understand why we cannot see them from our reservation once they are posted but it doesn't work that way. Sue

I will look up the times tomorrow. I can tell you that no tea or brunch times are left. We will have to see if we can get them on the ship. When we booked just after midnight last week all the brunches and tea reservations were gone. Same was true on the repo cruise. Sue

Thank you very much! I'll look for it when you find the time. I don't expect to get a tea or a brunch (we're just silver) but if I know what days they are offered maybe I can grab one when we board. And if not, oh well, no biggie. I guess a gal can hope, though.

With all this winter weather, it is getting me prepared for Alaska. I read some posts about the snorkeling trip. I am sorry, but if you think a wet suit in May will keep you warm, it won't. I am a diver and I will be brining my dry suit. the water (at the surface) will be in the mid 40's

I know you do not associate going to Alaska to dive but it will be extreme. But you are also talking to someone who jumped out of a plane from 14K feet.

I do not know how Brunch and Tea are gone!!

I wonder who DCL has planned for our cruise or if they will give us any gifts, but just to be on the safe side, I am brining a extra bag.

Our window for booking the repo cruise opens tomorrow, so I should see the times for that leg then

We just got home from the Panama Cruise. Taking the Wonder to the west coast was an inaugual cruise and Don "Ducky" Williams was on board. The litho was Miss Bianca and Bernard with the Wonder in the back ground. It is beautiful. I had a private sitting with Ducky for a character sketch and I asked him about the Alaska cruise. He told me the litho would have Mickey and Koda bear in it.

We did the Wonder's PC cruise and we got the Ducky litho, a really cute windchime with the ship and 4 characters hanging from it and a really nice travel game set. It has a deck of cards, backgammon, chess, etc.

I honestly don't know how I made it home with just the two suitcases I came with and within the 50lb limit, but I did it.

thanks for sharing the information about Ducky doing a litho for the Alaska cruise. Hopefully he'll have the family drawing lesson too. DH and our oldest DD (then 6) did it on a PC cruise. DD was lucky enough to win one of Ducky's sketches. I really enjoyed the talk he did as well.
