North terminal hotel recommendations

You can get 1 night + 15 days parking on airport for about £115 at Le Meridien, connected by walkway to the North terminal.
Anything cheaper is a compromise.

The Le Meridien is a fantastic hotel, much better than the grotty Hilton on the south Terminal.

Big thumbs up for Le Meridien. We are flying from the South terminal in Feb, but we are using le Meridien because of the quality and the excellent parking included prices. Why penny pinch on the first night of your hols eh?!:p In total ageement with Eastender!

Another vote for Le Meridian -Its Very Good

( strangly enough, we are using the Hilton tomorrow night  )

Can't agree about the Hilton, I thought it was comparable to Meridien. Maybe I just got a decent room?

Thanks everyone :D
I've been looking up Le Meridian on a few sites, and it seems that they don't have any family rooms
The cheapest I could find it was for £120 with 15 days parking. I'll need 20 days, so how much extra would I be charged, and does anyone know the best sites for hotels ?

I now use superbreaks, they appear to be cheaper than abc holiday extras whenever i look something up.

Superbreaks

I have no idea about family rooms & parking will probably be in the region of £3-£5 per day for any extra days you require.

I have just done a google search & there are stacks of website offering the 'cheapest deal'!!! You may find cheaper than the site I mentioned.

I recently booked at La Meridian for February 2003. Including parking up to 15 days £109 this is for a triple room.

I booked this through abcholidays.co.uk

We are not going to have breakfast at the hotel though - this would be £8.50 EB or £6.50 continental - we are going to eat at the airport.

Thanks Daywalker :D I tried superbreaks but they couldn't book that far ahead, so I will do a search.

MKlover :D abc are quoting £120 for a room and 15 days parking. Its extra because we are staying on a Thursday, so there is a supplement. I'll need 5 extra days parking on top of that(charged at gate price), so I think its going to be too expensive. After all it is just somewhere to get our heads down the night before we travel.
The 2 Copthorne hotels are going for £89 with 15 days parking, and the extra days arn't charged at gate price, so I'm going to do a search to find out which one is the best.
Thanks :p

You could try booking the hotel and parking separately.

I looked into this. You could stay at the Holiday Inn (I think it was about £40) and then the parking at the NCP long stay car park (if you book this via www.baa.co.uk) it was approx £50 when I looked.

Or you could try the rennaissance hotel 01293 826918 I was quoted £115 for the night (included 8? days parking I think) + breakfast for 2 people. I have stayed at this hotel before and it is a nice hotel.

Hope this might help?

Rachel
