North Port FL?

Has anyone heard about NorthPort FL? I think this city/town is near Ft Myers. I am wondering if they got hit just as hard. I have friends there.

North Port is right near Port Charlotte where a lot of the damage was (my sister used to live there).

I haven't heard anything on the news other than Punta Gorda, Aracadia, Captiva Island as far as severe damage is concerned.

I believe they are having trouble reaching some areas because of extensive road debris.
