North Face Jackets

Last summer I found a really good deal on North Face jackets on the budget board. Does anyone know when the online stores start clearancing out jackets? I think that they are discountinued styles but my kids don't care. For some reason I thought it was in July but can't remember.

The North Face deals have already started. I got emails from MooseJaw and Altrec this week that TNF was on clearance.

Look for a North Face outlet as well. I have one about an hour away that I get all of our NF stuff at. People pick on me because our family has so much NF but when you get a $300+ down filled jacket for less than $50 . . .

Just a caution about the outlet - there is absolutely no warranty with anything that is purchased there. So for some more expensive things like jackets, that might be a consideration for some people.

You can get some great savings, but the last 3 TNF outlets I was in, did not have that great prices on some items, considering there was no warranty on those items. There was not an abundance of $50.00 jackets at all - the $300.00 jackets were in the $150-175 range.

Yeah, I usually find our winter jackets on sale during the summer and spring stuff during winter. I didn't even know that NF had a warranty as it is. I think I have only paid full price for 1 NF jacket but I haven't ever had a problem with any of the ones we wear. I do get picked on a lot by friends for wearing a lot of NF

I'm surprised you didn't know about the warranty - it is a lifetime warranty on most of their products.

I have to agree about the jacket selection at the outlet. I visited the Orlando outlet 2 wks ago, when we were down there. There were lots of black jackets, and some in some unusual colors.

I specifically wanted a triclimate (which I got earlier this year on line), and I didn't see any of them at the outlet.

However, there were lots of nice summer clothes, and I did score a nice deal on a backpack for the parks. It rained so much this trip, I actually went there to buy a backpack big enough to fit 4 ponchos, plus the usual sunscreen, camera, water bottle, etc that I always wind up lugging through WDW.
