Hi there,
If all goes well, Norm and I will be leaving next Sunday for Key West - we should be there in time to arrive while those on the Western next week are there - anyhow to those that are waiting on their Key West packets - I will be filling them up in Key West and will mail them from there so you will receive them well in advance of your cruise and will have plenty of heads up - also if you are interested in having Key West info sent to you - you need to get a large, self addressed envelope sent to me with about $3.50 worth of stamps on it - I will fill it and send it to you from Key West.

I would send the large since when I am down In Key West, I fill it up with a lot of extra stuff including newspaper - you mail it to The Perfect Gift, 6550 North Atlantic Avenue, Cape Canaveral, fla 32920 --------I MUST receive it by Saturday, if not, then I will fill it up here and mail it to you - there are good coupons etc in it and they do help - I have mailed out over 600 of the packets and I have always had a good feed back in the 2 and half years I have been doing it.
Norm and I plan to spend quality time with family while there.

Listen you or anyone else that wants to stop by and pick one up is welcomed to do so - I believe they are great to have just to have a heads up on stuff to do or NOT to do. I keep repeating - ''WATCH THOSE TEE SHIRT SHOPS AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING" ----I know I keep repeating myself, but Norm and I read the paper every day and we know what is going on down there ok!!!!!!

Thanks again for the Kyew West packet. The information is wonderful. I hope that you and Norm can avoid the storms. The weather news is talking about evacuation orders for the Keys this evening.
Only 4 weeks until I leave, I hope that the storms are kind to all the Western ports!

Thanks everybody - we will be fine - as I wrote on another thread that even tho Norm and I do have a healty respect for the hurricanes, we aren't scare of them - we will be fine - I saw where they were asking folks to leave the keys - this will be the first time in years you will see the real ol conchs in one place -Key West has been blessed - we haven't had a direct hit in many years - they always have gone up the keys - we have the effect of the wind, but never much damaged - Key West has always been blessed - Bonnie and Charley will be long gone by the time we leave to go down - thanks for the uplifts --anyhow will post more when I get back.

Thanx! Our first Hurricane - just moved here 2 months ago. Prayers, especially, and Shirley's attitude toward Charley will help us.

I read a book about the storm of the century that hit the Keys in 1935. Whew! So, stay safe in the storms and thanks a bunch!
