Noreaster!!! What are you going to do?

Ah yes another storm. Well I am not going to let this storm stop me. Tonight I am hoping to go out to dinner before a show at Memorial Hall.

Tomorrow we are going buy DD her birthday present (birthday was in January), a brand new bicycle. She is very excited. Shop is open 11-5. I also need to go shopping for something to wear to NYC next Saturday.

Monday is a holiday, Happy Patriots Day! Hopefully the Sox game and Marathon will not be impacted. I have a friend running and a few going to the game. It is vacation week in MA. DD has two Brownie Vacation Day Badge Days to go to. I'm thinking Monday's will be cancelled.

I can say Nascar is on and basaball so my sunday is full.I can't forget my 3 daughters and my wife so if they are all around then it's a sunny day for me even if it's raining like crazy outside.

tiggerguy:banana:

"rain, rain, go away....."

We're in Maryland, so just rain until at least Monday night, and then a chance of snow mixing in

Our next trip is Feb 08, so I'm really behind in my planning and list making ;)

As far as what DH will do today, NASCAR is on, need I say more?

This spring has been the worst in recent memory weather wise. I can't believe how cold it's been:sad2: It will be at least naother week before we hit mid sixties and I can get my flower beds and mulching done! Just yuk!

I didn't really beleive that we would get alot of snow as far inland as we are, but the weather station just said we could expect anywhere from 12 to 18inches of the stuff!!!! It is supposed to start later this afternoon. I am supposed to take my Dad for a CAT Scan tomarrow at 10:30. Now I am really worried!:scared1:
Our trip is in August and I have most of the planning done, the resort, tickets, dining plan. Now I guess the only thing left is to wait for DS and DDIL to tell me which park they want to go to on which day!!!

We are just north of Syracuse NY - snow country... we are getting a little dusting right now... they are calling for about 3 inches by noon - the 6-10 inches tonight and another 6 inches tomorrow.... my DS plays baseball --- we were at a game about 1 1/2 weeks ago and although the field was clear of snow and the outfield a little wet.. there were 6 foot piles of snow left from the plows clearing the parking lots around the filed.... snow and baseball... just don't seem to go together..

My husband will be in tonight from Alaska, thank God he made it in before the storm. Do you know where the snow/rain line is? It looks like a major snow storm as far as parts of Pennsylvania. I plan on doing laundry, reading and surfing the disney threads for information.

My poor Easter Tulips will have to stay in their post until the coast is clear (no pun intended????)

The snow line is going to be the middle to northern parts of New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.. We are about 20 mins north of Portsmouth NH and we are expected to get a TON of rain (somewhere around 4") and strong winds.. Gotta love Spring in New England huh.... I'll be home making a Beef Stew, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and doing laundry.. well as long as we don't lose power  From the looks of it the Northeast won't be seeing the sun until next weekend :sad2:

Today is shaping up to be the type of day to just try and sit back & relax :), maybe do a little laundry:laundy:, cheat a little on your diet popcorn::, hope that the power doesn't go out so you can catch up with happenings on the DISboards :surfweb: :disrocks: and be wishing that you were in WDW :pixiedust: ...

Well, I got the dentist visit out of the way without getting too soaked. I'm glad I got it over with because it was a cavity and I don't need a toothache when I go to WDW.

Now if we can get to the birthday party without getting soaked, we'll be all set.

It was raining when I walked the dog this morning, but it's been snowing for a while now. It's still 36, so it's only sticking in the grass, and it's supposed to change to rain within an hour or two. I may make it without raging at Mother Nature... We've just holed up in the house, I've got chicken & dumplings in the crockpot, and a sick DH. What a day...

Well with all this crazy weather my daffodils & tulips starting come up Christmas week:confused3 now I don't think we will see one bloom:confused: We have sad looking leaves and not one bud.

As far as today goes the rain is very heavy & we have decided 3 p.m. is the start of wine!!!!!

Hurry Spring!

Right now I'm sitting at work on my lunch break. I'll be going home in 100 minutes so I'll see how bad the wind and rain is.

I am here in NJ sitting on my porch, DISing on my laptop listening to ALL the rain, wrapped up in my down blanket.....and waiting for The Capt to float by on the Pearl and scoop me up!:lmao:

I know- I will be sitting out here for a very long time!:lmao:

Heavy snow has just arrived in Central Vermont after several hours of cold rain. I am in the 1 to 2 feet forecast area...

My weekend has been the pits. I had surgery on Friday which actually went quite well. But then I developed a cold yesterday and have felt terrible all day. Thank goodness I have Percocet to put me out of my misery! No wine necessary!

When do you think our friend Bill the Groundhog will get it right? Short winter my eye!!!
