So here in S. Jersey we are getting a NorEaster today! What a miserable day out it is this morning, it is a windy, chilly rainy day! DH has to work a double today. so I will be home allday alone with Jamie! Looks like a nice Jammie Day for me, The DIS and trip planning! What happen to Spring/Summer I say?

We're getting pounded here on Long Island from it already and it's supposed to keep up until tomorrow morning. I want summer!

rainy miserable day here too. The best part is that DD8 is going on a field trip rain or shine to Boston to walk the Freedom Trail and go to the State House. Now doesn't that sound like fun on a day like today

And tomorrow, DD5 is going on a field trip to Franklin Park Zoo in Boston that I volunteered to chaperone! Now I am regretting volunteering :guilty:

Huh?! :confused3 My calendar says June - does Mother Nature not understand? SUMMER!!!!

I can only imagine what all this rain is doing to the local mosquito population....

Your imagination is my reality. Already, they are huge in my area, and today it is pouring out! I have a mosquito thing going out there, but it is not making a dent in the population. It is supposed to rain thru to the weekend.

It has been raining CONSTANTLY here in Vermont! Yesterday was the first day of sun in ages. Looks like I live in the jungle. Rain moving in today and here until SUNDAY!!! Weather normally doesn't get me down but this is crazy. In May it rained something like 19 days in a row :guilty:

What I'd give to see some :sunny:

Raining here also in Staten Island. Today my dd was suppose to have field day in school but it is now cancelled because of the rain. She was so looking forward to it. :umbrella:

Here in KY our weather has been a little cool (in relative terms, of course, LOL) but our rainfall has been about average which means a little rain every few days but bright sunny after the storms pass.

My dh struggles to get the garden in every year because of the rain. This year has been a pain in the behind. He's finally got most of it in and he'll probably have to just forget the stuff that didn't get planted.
