Has anyone else been watching the Nora Roberts books that have been made into Lifetime Movies? What do you think?
I thought Angels Falls was okay not great but thought Montana Sky just left out too much making it not cohesive and a little boring.

I dvr'ed them and haven't had a chance to watch yet. I love Nora Roberts.

Oh my goodness! I nearly posted almost this exact same topic. I have read Blue Smoke and Carolina Moon, but not the first 2. That said, I watched Montana Sky and most of Angels Fall, as well as Blue Smoke. I thought Montana Sky was ok. It started feeling very predictable after a little while-as in the lines, that sort of thing. Angels Fall started out pretty good, but then I had to leave, so I missed the end.

I did not like the actress playing Reena in Blue Smoke as Reena. I did like how they incorporated the past fire scenes by using flashbacks. Overall, it was just ok. The special effects were horrid. They looked worse than 1970s movies. Just way too outdated.

I'm looking forward to Carolina Moon. I really like the lead actress. I didn't love that book so much, but I'm holding out hope for the movie version.

I liked this Mondays the best with the fire theme. My mom reads her books and after watching the movies I might just read them too.

The books are 1000 times better than these movies! Try one, you will be hooked!

I have read all of the books, Montana Sky and Carolina Moon are 2 of my all time faves of hers. I was really disappointed in Angel's Fall, I didn't like the casting and thought there were too many lulls in the dialogue. Montana Sky I thought they did the best they could with fitting that much storyline into 90minutes. Blue Smoke, here we go with the casting again, I didn't like Reena, but the guy that played Bo was pretty good and I liked Scott Bakula and the dad. Also they really changed a lot of the plot around that didn't serve any purpose. The movies are all watchable, but so much more could be done with them. I am holding out hope for Carolina Moon to be the best of the bunch!
