Noon Ceremony: Pre-Ceremony Timeline?

I am preparing to book my hair and makeup artists, but need to give an estimated time for them to come to my room at the GF (Ceremony at the WP).

2 Bridesmaids, 2 Mothers, and myself will be doing both hair and makeup. I am curious to see someone else's timeline for the morning in terms of waking up, showering, getting dressed, and how long the hair and makeup will take to be downstairs by 10:45 am for photos?

I'm hoping a 4am alarm is not necessary but just have no idea what kind of time I will need to prepare and still be relaxed.

I didn't give my hair & Make-up stylists an estimated time, even though the form asked for it. I just wrote down what time I needed everything to be done by and then they got back to me with the time that they will be starting.

It really depends on how many people will be there to do your hair & make-up. The rule of thumb is 2 hours per person (1.5 hours for hair, .5 hours for make-up). So, if you only have one stylist, you are looking at 10 hours. That seems ridiculous so Im guessing they will have two people there. In that case, they can work on two people at a time, so you are looking at something closer to 6 hours. Once again though, it depends on how many stylists they have and how long of hair everyone has.

I'm having 5 people get hair and makeup. They will want to be done 30 minutes before your "ready" time. So let's say that's 10:15. We have them for 4 hours..so I'd request them to arrive around 6 a.m.

I guess I didn't realize they determine the time that they will arrive - but they would know better than me anyways because I won't know at this point how many stylists are coming.

6am wouldn't be too bad (maybe wake up at 5am?). Thank you for that example. It makes much more sense to me now.
