Noodle shop?

Has the noodle shop been open lately? I read it was open and closed a few times and would love to try it during our late September trip.

We were there for 2 weeks in early August, and it was not opened once....
I have a feeling that it might not open.

It was open this past weekend for the Labor day crowds, but may not be open late September. It's a pity they have it on seasonal opening, it was probably the best CS meal I've had at the MK.

I read today on the Mouseplanet site that the noodle station has now reopened.

Wow, I wonder if they made improvements. The buzz on these boards was that it was terrible. Did you have the pot stickers?

We went pretty much when they first opened. We had the chicken soup, bbq pork bun, and child's stir fry. It was definitely one of the better noodle bowls I've had, and I have them all the time in Asian restaurants. Also, the bbq pork was never meant to be a sandwich though a lot of people took it that way.

And no, we didn't have the pot stickers.

We've done Pecos Bill, Cosmic Ray's, Columbia Harbor House, Main St Bake Shop, Casey's, all the main CS places at the Magic Kingdom, and I'd say the noodle place ties with Casey's for us.

It is on the path to Tomorrowland where the old Plaza Pavillion was.

Even just hearing about the counter service places is making me so very antsey!!! 39 more days and I'll be dining at BOMA!

We are in the previous threads majority and this threads minority. We ate there in May and it was without a doubt the worst meal we've ever had at WDW. My wife and I both threw away 3/4 of our meals. It was so bad (in our opinion) that we had fast passes for Space and we walked out of the park forgetting to use the FP's cause we were so flustered by the bad meal.

For the record, I had the Thai noodle bowl and an egg roll. Wife had the chicken noodle bowl and some pot stickers. We choked down the egg roll and pot stickers and that was about the end of the meal for us.
