Hi all,

I just found this site as I was looking for information on tickets to WDW. I have never been there and for my first trip I am taking my family, two boys (8 & 6). I am trying to decide if I should buy the park hopper tickets or the Magic your way base tickets. I think that one park a day will be fine for the family and am leaning that way. I also want to know if I can enter and leave the park during the same day with the base ticket?

thanks for this great site and advice in advance,
Evan

Welcome to the DIS. You will get more answers if you post your question on the theme parks board. Yes you can enter and leave the same park during the day. You do a finger scan for every adult ticket so they will know that you have used the ticket for that park that day.

Thanks for the quick reply. :thumbsup2 As long as we can go in and out of a park during the day that one park a day will be fine for the family.
What a great board this is.

If you think you only need the base ticket, then just get that. While you're there and if you feel that you really wanted to hop you can always ADD that option while you're there, you'll have to pay the fee for the whole ticket hopping (so if you buy 7 day base tickets and decide to hop on the 4th day you still have to pay the hopping upgrade fee for the whole 7 day ticket, not just to hop on the days you haven't used yet).
We had hoppers in October and didn't hop once......

If we just wanted to leave the park and come back later in the evening is a park hopper pass needed...I'm not getting any younger and we will be staying at FW Campground, so I can rest for a couple hours and then head back, can't see spending the money for a parkhopper...Thanks for the information..

Buy what you think is best for you. Have a great trip.
