Non seafood items at Cape May Buffet?

We are going in Oct. and staying at the BC, so I am wondering if I should get an ADR at Cape May. We are on the dining plan and I believe it's 1 TS. My husband is the only one who likes seafood and my kids are rather picky. How are the non-seafood items here? Is there enough of a variety? Thanks for any help. Linda

The prime rib was delicious. I believe they had chicken too.

Our kids found they liked the pizza, mickey shaped mac n cheese and chicken nuggets.

We are very picky eaters and found Cape May to be a pleasant surprise. Everyone found something they liked.

The ribs, corn bread and mashed potatoes were great. I would eat here every trip but my wife hates buffets. The only one she will return to over and over again is Boma.

We have eaten dinner buffet there the last 3 visits...all of which b'c we were staying at the BC...

Every time I was SO glad I had made reservations...lines for others were LONG!

It worked for our family (with picky teens) but I would not consider it a "Destination" restaurant.

I love seafood but not from a Buffet...so what I remember liking were: The Salads...The carving station with mashed potatos and gravy...the ribs...

The kids liked the boiled shrimp. They have a "Kids Choices" buffet (like H&V...mac & chs, chicken nuggets, etc.) . The family loved the dessert buffet...

I think the variety should be fine...especially since it's a buffet. And it they do like it...it's very similar to H&V (without the seafood - except boiled shrimp).

I have always wanted to eat here, but the distinctive smell of seafood bothers DD so much that we can't do it. It's not a bad smell, just smells like cooked fish, but that's enough. Just FYI.
