Has anyone ever cancelled a non/refundable International ticket w/Continental Airlines?
I did give them a call and will call again/just to double check/clarify. It is a possibility that my son will not be coming with us on our DCL Med. cruise this July. It is all a blur to me right now what she said.
He (we) will get credit that is good up to a year. There is a $200 charge for re-ticketing (does that come off the price we paid $1,200) or is this an additional fee? - this I am not clear on. If the new ticket is less than the original (which it will be - to Orlando), they will issue a travel certificate which anyone can use (up to a year). I forgot to ask also - do we need to wait for certificate before booking additional person/s to use up credit? (or can it be done when we reticket?)
Did I make any sense?
I wish he was not thinking about this/cancelling - but it is a very good possibility - has anyone had any problems when cancelling/restrictions? Suggestions?
Thanks.
