Non park day planning

We are leaving orlando on feb 13 after 4 days at the parks. We are checking out of our off site hotel that morning and having breakfast at Cape May. Is there anything else we can do from the Beach Club after breakfast that doesn't involve a park ticket or getting back in our car? I don't want to overstay our welcome in their parking lot either. Could we take the boat around? Is there a way to get to the monorail without going into Epcot?

Yes, you can ride the boat around - would probably take an hour or maybe a little more to make the trip to both Epcot and the Studios. Unfortunately you can't walk to the monorail without going through Epcot.

Fantasia Gardens mini-golf is very close to BC.

I should mention that we have a 2yo and baby. I think an hour boat ride might be too much. Is there a way to make it a shorter trip? Just take it to one stop and back in case they aren't loving it? Knowing my husband, he'll be ready to hit the road after breakfast, but I think I'll want to squeeze in any last bit of Disney before we go (hence doing a Character breakfast that morning)!
