We are looking for some ideas of things to do on our non-park days. We have a DS (4yrs). We did Universal last year and we were not that impressed. We already do Downtown Disney (Spings) a lot. Would like some ideas outside of Disney things. We found the Crayola Experience at the Florida Mall, which seems cool for my 4 yr old. Thanks for any ideas.

We went to Gatorland. Very cheesy and I didn't like it but it was a big hit with my son. Legoland isn't too far...We did not like Sea World at all, and after watching Blackfish will never go back, but Discovery Cove was amazing.

It's still Disney, but have you considered mini-golf? Winter Summerland has great reviews. Universal probably wasn't that impressive to you yet since your son I assume isn't tall enough for most of the rides?

I'm a huge fan of Kennedy Space Center but your son would only enjoy that if he liked space travel, but that's always an option. It's a little over an hour away from the World.

You could also go to the Medieval Times in Kissimmee.

Thanks. Yeah! We have done mini golf at both of thr Disney ones. That's always on tap.

We went to the Orlando Science Center a few years ago to meet up with my FL relatives. They had a whole Sesame Street section at the time. It was pretty cute and only took us a couple hours to walk through, so not a whole day.

On our off day from the parks we usually spend the day at the pool and DTD, but when I was younger we did dinner at Medevil Times in Orlando and that was fun, especially if your 4yr old is into knights.
